After a quick breakfast in the room and packing our things for the trip home, we headed out by taxi to London pier to catch a river cruise.  It was a little overcast, but still OK for a quick tour before heading back.<\/p>\n

Once the boat docked, we walked back to the Savoy along the river.<\/p>\n

After returning to the room, we made our way to the lobby as we had an airport transfer arranged to pick us up at noon.  We waited in the lobby for the car and were quickly on our way to Heathrow airport.<\/p>\n

We got checked in for our flight, browsed the duty free shop and again waited in the lounge and had some lunch before boarding.  It was a comfortable return flight with good meals and I was able to finally get mostly caught up writing the blog entries.<\/p>\n

We certainly need to return to London to see the sights properly.  At some point we plan to take a few weeks to tour the UK, and when we do, we\u2019ll be sure to include 3 or 4 days in London.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
