We awoke this morning to watch a helicopter airlifting supplies over several trips in a giant net hanging from a cable to the two mountain tea houses surrounding Lake Louise, one of which we had lunch at the day before.<\/p>\n

We then packed up our things to head north-west up the Icefields Parkway to Jasper.  The drive is only about 230km, but we took about 7 hours to make the drive, since there were so many places to stop along the way.<\/p>\n

We eventually arrived in Jasper and made our way to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.  As the name would suggest, we\u2019re staying in a lodge and not a traditional hotel this time.  We have a nice cabin by the lake and a short walk to the main building where the rest of the facilities (spa, restaurants, shopping, etc.) are located.<\/p>\n

After getting settled, we headed over to the main lodge for some dinner on the patio by the lake.<\/p>\n
