In the photo below, you can&#8217;t even see Mount Victoria.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/wp-content\/pictures\/Alberta2017\/20170820_110331-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-3390\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today we mostly stuck around the hotel and shoreline area.  As we were walking around, we saw this large group of people all decide to take a plunge in the lake.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hGMARiGdwic?rel=0&#038;ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>We mostly just relaxed and enjoyed the area.  In the evening, we had a nice dinner at the Walliser Stube, which we try to do on every visit here.<\/p>\n<p>The food is always excellent here, and so is the view.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/wp-content\/pictures\/Alberta2017\/20170820_190108-576x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"576\" height=\"1024\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-3392\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And as per the photo below, this library-style wall of wine bottles isn&#8217;t just for show; they use them.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/wp-content\/pictures\/Alberta2017\/20170820_194437-e1504871653476-576x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"576\" height=\"1024\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-3393\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cloudy days are expected in the mountains, but this one was nice and relaxing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When we awoke this morning, it appeared that it was a bit cloudy and also that the smoke was blowing back into the area.
