We had a nice lunch in town, at which point it started raining.  After lunch we broke out our raingear and started heading back toward our hotel.  Fortunately, we quickly spotted a local bus heading that way, and decided to grab a ride back to the Banff Springs instead of slogging back up in the pouring rain.<\/p>\n<p>After getting cleaned up, we headed out to dinner at Samurai for some sushi.<\/p>\n<p>We closed out the evening by heading across to the conference wing of the hotel, where they have a bowling alley, and we spent an hour playing a few games before calling it a day.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/wp-content\/pictures\/Alberta2017\/20170814_223259-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-3243\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On our first full day in Banff, the skies had cleared and the sun was shining.
