{"id":2555,"date":"2016-02-06T12:00:33","date_gmt":"2016-02-06T16:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/?p=2555"},"modified":"2016-03-19T13:48:01","modified_gmt":"2016-03-19T17:48:01","slug":"day-2-skiing-at-whistler","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/?p=2555","title":{"rendered":"Day 2 \u2013 Skiing at Whistler"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We began the day with a nice breakfast before getting suited up for a day of skiing.\u00a0 The weather was looking promising, so were excited to get out on the slopes.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, our excitement quickly dissipated upon seeing the line up for the Wizard Express chairlift.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-2556\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/wp-content\/pictures\/WhistlerBanff2016\/20160206_100003-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"20160206_100003\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We eventually made it to the front of the line and rode the lift up the first third of Blackcomb mountain. Fortunately, for the remainder of the day, the lift lines became much shorter.\u00a0 After getting off the lift, we immediately headed over to the Solar Coaster Express lift to continue up to the main lodge on Blackcomb mountain.<\/p>\n<p>We then skied down to the bottom of the 7th Heaven Express chair to head up to the top of Blackcomb.
