{"id":1126,"date":"2006-12-30T18:23:00","date_gmt":"2006-12-30T18:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/?p=1126"},"modified":"2013-09-08T18:29:16","modified_gmt":"2013-09-08T18:29:16","slug":"day-15-nosy-be","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/?p=1126","title":{"rendered":"Day 15 &ndash; Nosy-Be"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we awoke to a beautiful sunny day.&nbsp; Unfortunately, I was still not feeling well, and Nadine even called in a doctor.&nbsp; Basically, just a lot of nausea and I really couldn&#8217;t eat or drink anything. <\/p>\n<p>The doctor arrived (she doesn&#8217;t like coming here since it&#8217;s so difficult to get to) and checked me out.&nbsp; Standard tests checked out (blood pressure, temperature, etc), and in her opinion, it was just a severely upset stomach from the very bad ride getting here.&nbsp; Her fee was 30,000 MGA, which actually works out to about 18 dollars, not that I care since the health plan will pay for it.&nbsp; Wow, if that&#8217;s what a doctor makes, the wages here really are low! <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I&#8217;m not entirely convinced with the diagnosis.&nbsp; She said this kind of thing has happened before with people traveling to this resort?&nbsp; Still, I spend a lot of time on a boat, so I&#8217;ve been exposed to far worse conditions for seasickness, which she basically said is what I have.&nbsp; I&#8217;ve been seasick before, and it&#8217;s never lasted this long?
