Antsiranana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we were to visit the 3 bays around the Diego area.\u00a0 Unfortunately, for the first time in our trip, the weather has altered our plans.\u00a0 We did go out for a tour, but were not able to do everything we wanted to do because of the rain and the poor roads that resulted from it.<\/p>\n<p>After breakfast on the covered patio by the pool, we set out towards Ramena, northwest of Diego, and here are some photos from the journey.\u00a0 Here is our truck crossing the first of many road obstacles.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"IMG_6389_edited-1\" alt=\"IMG_6389_edited-1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hodson.ca\/Travel\/wp-content\/pictures\/Madagascar2006\/IMG_6389_edited-1.jpg\" width=\"574\" height=\"432\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Before returning to the hotel, Nadine asked the driver if he could take us to an authentic Malagasy restaurant where she could eat some of the foods she remembered.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t want to take a chance eating anything, but Nadine said it was good.\u00a0 Here is Nadine and our driver eating lunch.\u00a0 I just drank the Coca-Cola.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none;
